The Unicorn Who Wanted to Live in New York
In a distant enchanted forest, hidden from human eyes, there lived a unicorn named Silver. His horn shone like moonlight, and his mane shimmered with all the colors of the rainbow. The forest creatures respected him for his wisdom, kindness, and love of adventure.
But Silver dreamed of something more. He had heard stories about a great human city that never sleeps—New York. Traveling birds spoke of its glowing skyscrapers, bright lights, and streets full of life.
— “I want to see this world!” — he exclaimed one day.
His friends exchanged surprised glances.
— “But you live in the most beautiful place!” — said the old owl.
— “I want more! I want adventure, fast-paced life, the buzz of a big city!” — the unicorn replied firmly.
And so, one starry night, he decided to embark on a journey around the world to reach his dream—New York.
Around the World
Silver spread his magical wings (yes, some unicorns have wings!) and soared into the sky.
France: Treats and Art
His first stop was Paris. He landed near the Eiffel Tower, where he heard music and laughter. He tasted delicious croissants and even visited the Louvre, where he saw a painting that seemed familiar.
— “That’s a unicorn portrait!” — he gasped.
A local artist explained that unicorns had been symbols of magic and purity since ancient times.
— “But New York will be even better!” — Silver thought and took off again.
Egypt: The Mystery of the Pyramids
His next stop was Egypt. He landed near the Great Pyramids and met a wise sphinx.
— “Are you searching for happiness in a city?” — the sphinx asked.
— “I am searching for a new life!” — the unicorn replied.
The sphinx only smiled mysteriously.
— “Sometimes what we seek is already within us.”
WOW:
Silver didn’t dwell on the thought and continued his journey.
China: The Magical Dragon
In China, he met a golden dragon flying above the Great Wall.
— “You want to go to New York?” — the dragon asked.
— “Yes! I want to live among people!”
— “Are you ready to lose who you are?”
Silver hesitated but kept going.
New York: A Dream Come True?
At last, Silver arrived in New York. He landed in Central Park and saw hundreds of people around him. Skyscrapers reached the sky, city lights shone brighter than the stars, and the sound of cars seemed like music.
— “This is it! My dream city!” — he said excitedly.
But as the days passed, something felt wrong. There was no forest silence, no birdsong, no rustling trees. People rushed past him, not noticing the magical unicorn.
His magic was useless here.
— “I dreamed of this… but why don’t I feel happy?”
Conclusion: Where Is True Happiness?
When he returned to his forest, all his friends ran to greet him.
— “You’re back!”
— “Yes… I realized that home isn’t where I want to be, but where I am loved.”
His horn shone once more, and his heart was filled with warmth.
Moral
Dreams matter, but true happiness isn’t about a place—it’s about the people (or magical beings) who love you.
