About ORBK.NET
ORBK.NET is an author-led analytical project exploring current events, technology, economics, science, society, and other forces shaping the modern world. We distinguish verified facts from interpretation and examine possible future scenarios without presenting forecasts as established facts. A separate part of the project is dedicated to original stories, fiction, and other creative writing.

Not only what happened, but why
The world is shaped by processes that constantly influence one another. A new technology can transform the labour market, an economic decision can change the behaviour of businesses and consumers, a scientific discovery can reshape an entire industry, and social change can create new habits and ways of living.
That is why ORBK.NET is interested in more than isolated facts. We aim to understand why something is happening, what forces are driving the change, how different developments are connected, and what consequences may follow.
ORBK.NET is neither a daily news feed nor an encyclopedia offering ready-made answers to every question. It is a space for independent analysis, exploring causes, comparing different interpretations, and finding the wider context that is often lost behind individual headlines.
At the same time, interpretation is not treated as fact. When information is incomplete, contradictory, or the outcome is still unknown, that uncertainty should remain visible to the reader.
Analysing the future
One of ORBK.NET’s key areas of work is examining what may happen next.
For forecasting and scenario analysis, the project uses its proprietary forecasting technology, ORACLE Foresight Engine. It combines verified facts, historical context, current signals, and scenario analysis to assess possible paths of future development.
The detailed methodology, algorithms, and calculation rules behind the system form part of ORBK.NET’s proprietary research framework.
The purpose of this approach is not to suggest that the future can be known in advance. A forecast is an assessment of which scenario appears more or less likely based on the information currently available. As new evidence emerges, that assessment may change.
What ORBK.NET means
The name of the project also carries its own interpretation:

For us, this means observing reality, checking information, exploring connections between events and ideas, and gradually building a deeper understanding of the world around us.
.NET — Network of Exploration & Thought is ORBK.NET’s own interpretation of the name, rather than a technical definition of the .net domain extension.
The project’s core idea can be expressed simply:

What ORBK.NET explores
The project covers a broad range of subjects, but they share a common principle: going beyond a surface description of a topic to understand its causes, development, and possible consequences.
Forecasts and Analysis — future events, developing processes, and scenarios whose outcomes are not yet known.
Business — companies, competition, business models, corporate decisions, emerging markets, and structural changes across industries.
Finance — money, currencies, banks, financial markets, public finance, and processes that influence economic decisions. Content in this section is analytical and informational and does not constitute personalised investment advice.

Facts, interpretations, and an authorial perspective
ORBK.NET aims to keep different types of information clearly separated.
A verified fact remains a fact. A statement made by a company, government institution, or another interested party is presented as a statement. An author’s conclusion remains an interpretation, while an assessment of the future remains a forecast.
In areas where competing theories, legends, or poorly supported claims exist, ORBK.NET does not treat the absence of an answer as evidence for an attractive hypothesis.
The author-led nature of the project allows for an independent point of view. But a point of view should never be presented as an established fact.
Original stories
Alongside its analytical work, ORBK.NET also provides space for fairy tales, short stories, fiction, rural stories, speculative writing, and other original creative works.
This is a different way of exploring the world — through narrative, imagery, and imagination rather than factual analysis.
Creative works are clearly separated from informational and analytical content. Their characters, events, dialogue, and circumstances may be fictional or creatively reimagined and should not be interpreted as documentary descriptions of real events.
A project that continues to evolve
ORBK.NET can bring together analytical articles, forecasts, original photography, video, music, fiction, and other forms of creative and analytical work.
Its categories and individual directions may evolve as the project grows. The central principle remains unchanged: not simply to accumulate information, but to understand what it means and the context in which it should be viewed.
