In a distant magical valley, among towering mountains and emerald forests, lived a tribe of fire dragons. Each one of them was born with the ability to breathe fire, warm themselves on cold nights, and protect their lands. But one day, in the family of the mighty dragon Ragnar, a little dragon was born. His name was Flix.
Flix was different from the others. His scales shimmered with a bluish tint, and his eyes glowed with kindness. But his most unusual trait was that he couldn’t breathe fire. He tried day after day, but only warm air came out of his mouth. The other dragonlings laughed at him:
— What kind of dragon are you if you can’t even produce a single spark?
Flix felt sad, but his mother, the wise dragoness Linaria, always supported him:
— Your strength is yet to come, my son. Fire is not the only power of a dragon.
Finding His Own Strength
One day, disaster struck the valley—a great storm caused a wildfire in the forest. The flames spread quickly, and the small creatures living there had nowhere to run. The dragons rushed to extinguish the fire, but it was too much to handle.
Flix, unable to breathe fire, didn’t know how to help. Then he remembered the magical ice crystals by the river. If shattered, they would release a powerful wave of cold. The little dragon quickly flew there, gathered the crystals in his paws, and scattered them over the flames. The cold air instantly put out part of the fire!
WOW:
— Look at what he did! — one of the dragonesses exclaimed.
Flix felt a new warmth inside him—not the warmth of fire, but the warmth of confidence.
The Trial and Discovery of True Strength
The next day, the elder of the tribe, the wise dragon Groon, gathered everyone:
— Flix, you have shown that true strength is not just fire, but also intelligence, courage, and a kind heart.
From that day on, Flix was no longer ashamed of his uniqueness. He learned to control the ice crystals and helped his tribe whenever fire became a threat. The dragons no longer laughed at him; instead, they admired his abilities.
The Moral of the Story
Everyone has their own special strength. The most important thing is to not be afraid of being different and to find your own path.
