Fairy Tale : The Unicorn Protector and the Curse of the Orcs.

The unicorn protector and the curse of the Orcs.

A long time ago, in a cozy valley among the mountains, there was a small village called Grunwald. Its inhabitants lived peacefully, cultivating the land and raising their children. A mysterious forest stood above the village, where no one dared to enter. It was believed that a magical unicorn lived there, which once saved the village from a great drought.

But one day this idyll was destroyed. From the east, where the rocky peaks rose, came the orcs, formidable creatures who knew no pity. They plundered, burned, and took cattle. The villagers turned to the unicorn for help.

Meeting the unicorn

The old miller Friedrich, the wisest man in the village, led the delegation to the forest. Thick gloom and silence enveloped them, but suddenly light appeared, and a magical creature appeared before them. Its fur shone with silver, and its horn shimmered with all the colors of the rainbow.

– “Why have you come to me, mortals?” the unicorn asked, his voice sounding like the sound of mountain streams.

Frederick fell to his knees:
– “O Great Defender! The orcs are destroying our land. We ask for your help, for otherwise we cannot survive.

The unicorn thought about it.
– I can protect you, but there is a price. You must promise me that you will no longer cut down the forest that is my home.

The peasants swore an oath, and the unicorn went to the mountains.

The battle with the orcs

The next day the orcs appeared again. They were confident in their strength, but suddenly a unicorn appeared from the forest. It emitted a light that blinded the orcs. Their weapons disintegrated into ashes, and those who tried to get closer immediately froze on the spot.

The orcs were frightened and began to run away, but the strongest of them, the leader Targus, shouted:
– “It’s just a beast! We will defeat it!

But the unicorn replied:
– You have come to destroy the innocent, but I, the guardian of this land, will not let you pass!

A beam shot from his horn and split the ground in front of the orcs. The leader realized that their time was up and ordered them to retreat.

The price of peace

The villagers rejoiced in their victory, but the unicorn was serious.
– I have kept my promise. Now it is your turn to keep yours.

The villagers swore again that they would protect the forest and live in harmony with nature.

The unicorn disappeared into the forest, but he left his words:
– If you upset the balance again, the evil will return, and this time I will not be able to help you.

The moral of the story:
True power lies in harmony with nature, and peace is only possible when people keep their promises and respect the world around them.
