The Pony Who Dreamed of Flying
In a small village, where the sun always played with rays among the clouds, lived a unicorn pony named Zephir. His silver horn shone so brightly that even the stars were envious. However, Zephir had one dream that no one could understand. He dreamed of flying, like the birds, to see the world from above.
“But you are a pony,” others laughed. “You don’t have wings!”
Zephir only sighed sadly, for he knew his heart longed for something more than just running through the meadows.
The Encounter with the Mosquito
One morning, as Zephir stood by the river, a little mosquito flew up to him. His name was Dzyubik, and he was the biggest troublemaker in the mosquito kingdom.
“Why so sad?” asked Dzyubik, sitting on Zephir’s horn.
“I dream of flying, but I can’t,” replied the pony.
“Fly?” Dzyubik laughed. “Who said that’s impossible?”
And Dzyubik told Zephir about the magical mosquito kingdom, where the wise King of Mosquitoes lived. It was said that he could grant any wish, if the heart asked sincerely.
The Journey to the Mosquito Kingdom
Zephir embarked on a journey, with Dzyubik as his guide. They made their way through dense forests, crossed mountain streams, and even met a sunbeam lost among the trees.
“We’re almost there!” said Dzyubik when tiny houses on water appeared in the distance. This was the mosquito kingdom — a land where everything was made of dewdrops, flower petals, and cobwebs.
The mosquitoes greeted Zephir with curiosity. They had never seen unicorns and couldn’t imagine that they could have wishes.
The Wish Before the King
WOW:
The King of Mosquitoes, grand and majestic, sat on a throne made of seashells.
“Zephir,” he said. “I have heard of your wish. But tell me, why do you want to fly?”
“I want to see the world the way birds see it. I want to understand what it’s like to touch the clouds.”
The King pondered.
“Flying is a responsibility. But if your wish is sincere, I will help you.”
Magical Wings
The King of Mosquitoes waved his scepter, and Zephir’s horn shone like never before. Suddenly, transparent wings, like those of mosquitoes, grew from his sides. They were light but strong, able to lift him high into the sky.
Zephir soared above the forest, seeing mountains, rivers, and meadows. He felt the freedom he had dreamed of all his life.
“Now you are not just a pony,” said the King. “You are a unicorn who can fly!”
Return Home
Zephir returned to his village, and everyone was amazed by his transformation. He told them about the mosquito kingdom, Dzyubik, and the King of Mosquitoes.
“The most important thing,” said Zephir, “is to believe in your dreams. Even what seems impossible can become reality.”
Moral
Every dream has power if you truly believe in it. Even a mosquito can teach us that any obstacle can be overcome when you pursue your goal with an open heart.
