A fairy tale about a spoon and a plate

A fairy tale about a spoon and a plate

Once upon a time, in a small kitchen on the edge of the world, there lived a Spoon. It was thin, flexible, and always ready to work. Its neighbor was a Plate – round, strong, and always a little serious. They were lying next to each other in a drawer, but they hardly ever talked.

Spoon was always dreaming. It imagined itself on great adventures-traveling to exotic lands where unusual soups were served, or on festive tables covered with shiny appliances. The plate, on the other hand, had a more practical view of life. It believed that its purpose was to hold food, and that was no small thing.

The first meeting with soup

One morning, when the sun shed its first rays on the kitchen table, Spoon and Saucer were on the table together for the first time. The hostess had prepared a fragrant vegetable soup, and the plate proudly took it over.

– “I’m holding the whole soup!” said the Plate proudly.

– And I’ll help you taste it!” replied the Spoon and dipped into the soup.

Their cooperation was flawless. The Spoon realized that without the Plate, the soup would simply spill over, and the Plate realized that without the Spoon, no one could enjoy its contents.

Conflict and separation

But sometimes pride does its work. One day they started arguing.

– “I’m the boss because I hold all the food!” argued the Plate.

– But without me, they can’t taste the food,” said Spoon.

The argument turned into silence. Each decided that they could do without the other.

A lesson in wisdom

One day a new dish came into the kitchen – a big pie. A plate was called to hold it, but a knife was already needed. The spoon looked at the side and realized that it was no longer needed.

The next day, soup was served, but this time the hostess decided to use a bowl and fork for garnish. The plate was also left out.

Both realized that their true purpose was to work together.

A reunion

When the hostess decided to serve the soup again, Spoon and Plate met again. They no longer argued because they realized that each of them had a unique role to play. Their cooperation became a symbol of harmony.

Since then, Spoon and Saucer have been working together, realizing that in the world it is important not only to be useful but also to appreciate the work of others.

Moral.

Every object or person has its place in the world. Sometimes, to succeed, you need to join forces, even if it seems like you can do it alone.
