The Secret of the Magical Garden
In a distant land, where dawns were golden and the wind sang gentle songs, there lived a unicorn named Lumis. His mane shimmered with all the colors of the rainbow, and a silver horn gleamed on his forehead. He dwelled in the Enchanted Forest, where trees whispered tales, and flowers glowed at night.
But the most precious treasure of this forest was the Sugar Apple—a magical fruit that bestowed light upon those whose hearts were kind. Its taste was sweeter than honey, and its fragrance filled the soul with warmth.
But one morning, disaster struck: the Sugar Apple had disappeared!
— Who could have taken it? — the old owl Willow murmured anxiously.
— Without it, our forest will fade into darkness, — sighed the deer Elios.
Lumis knew: if the fruit was not found before sunset, the magic of the forest would be lost forever.
— I will find it! — exclaimed the unicorn and set off on his journey.
A Journey Through Perils
Lumis ran through the forest, leaving behind a dazzling trail of stardust.
The first creature he met was a rabbit named Finn, who hopped excitedly towards him.
— I saw a shadow carrying something shiny towards Thunder Mountain!
Thunder Mountain was a grim place, where mist always swirled, and dark creatures lurked.
Lumis did not hesitate. He raced forward until he reached the foot of the mountain.
Suddenly, stone griffins leaped out from behind the rocks—they guarded the entrance.
— Only one who can solve our riddle may pass! — one of them growled.
The riddle was:
“What is sweet but not candy,
“What shines but is not a star,
“What gives life but is not water?”
Lumis thought for a moment…
— It’s the Sugar Apple!
The griffins stepped back in astonishment, and the unicorn rushed forward.
Ahead loomed a dark cave, and something glimmered inside.
WOW:
The Stolen Treasure
At the very center of the cave, on a stone pedestal, the Sugar Apple gleamed.
And beside it stood the Shadow Serpent—a cunning spirit that dwelled in darkness.
— Ha! — it hissed. — I took this fruit because I want the world to forget about light!
— But without light, even shadows disappear, — Lumis replied calmly.
The serpent froze.
— What do you mean?
— Without light, you would not exist either. You are merely a reflection of goodness, which means you are part of it.
The serpent trembled.
— N-no… That’s impossible…
But deep inside, it knew the unicorn was right.
At last, it lowered its head and whispered:
— Take it… but remember: there is no light without shadow.
Lumis carefully took the Sugar Apple and dashed out of the cave.
The Return of Magic
By the time the unicorn returned to the forest, night had already fallen.
He lifted the apple to the sky, and it shone like a tiny sun!
The forest filled with light, and the flowers began to sing their songs.
— Lumis has saved us! — the animals cheered.
And from that day on, once a year, when the longest night arrived, the Sugar Apple would glow, reminding everyone that even in darkness, there is always a place for light.
✨ The End.
